Tolerance
Please make sure you have read through the lesson before coming to class so that we have plenty of time to discuss and reflect. I am working on trying to figure the issue with posting comments on the blog. I know that everyone has been having problems with that. Did anyone else have a tough time with this character? I found that while I do have quite a bit of tolerance for unbelievers, maybe I show too much tolerance for believers. Are we doing our job as parts of the body of Christ in making sure that we do not tolerate some of the sins listed in the Bible from believers? Hmmmm...
ReplyDeleteI think it is easier to tolerate believers because we see them trying to improve their life through Christ. To witness a journey with God is a lot easier than watching people deny good and use people to their advantage (which is where tolerating is most difficult for me).
